Cyanbell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 23 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous narrow, crooked stems covered in fine, ridged, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are very short and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, very thin, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are either cyan, or gentle purple with red zig-zags, flexible and clammy.

It produces copious amounts of tiny, crimson flowers with 6 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a strong scent that smells like old books. In late winter it forms medium-sizedwashed-out green, shelled seeds.

It is bio-luminescent.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
