Silver Moss

This silver moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is frequently struck by lightning.
