Ambergrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, amber tail.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It commonly grows in large patches.
