Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs, and In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly hardy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
