Coppergrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This big, yellow grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, copper flower.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

Array
It blooms only at night.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
