Violetvine

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters) and growing as high as 45 feet (13.7 meters).

It takes 5 months for the green and grey stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The slender, pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are either violet or silver, with caramel lines, and have wavy edges.
