Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized, silver grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are strong.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange spikelet.
During the early autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
