Emerald

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In moorlands, and In damp forests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and can overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly resistant; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
