Flame Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
