Aquamarine Whiskerfern

Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its vivid green stem is wispy, and the small, silver leaves are oblong with jagged edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Several small flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of aquamarine. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 45 raised, narrow petals. They are very delicate.

It has a faint scent that smells like new books, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
