Cream Moss

This slate and cream moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores.
