Amber Tree

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 255 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in knobbly, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The small clumps of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with thick bunches of covered in fine hairs, large, circular leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are amber and red.

In late summer it forms large, white, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.
