Crimson Spikegrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, vivid red spikelet.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
