Blueberry Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 34 feet (10.4 meters) and growing as high as 851 feet (259.4 meters).
It takes 13 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.
The broad, flat, soft leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in slate and blue varieties, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of small pink flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small berries.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
