Crimson Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 782 feet (238.4 meters).

It takes 2 years for the purple stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The 6 pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are red on the sides and olive at the center, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of tiny crimson flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces lots of large fruits.
