Copper

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 38 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several wide, slanted stems covered in paper-thin, smooth, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is burgundy.

The branches trail down to the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of small, long, narrow, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are copper and turquoise, light and smooth.

In mid-summer it produces thousands of medium-sized, lime blossoms with flame-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like marzipan.

In early winter small long, curved fruits ripen. The crispy bronze skin is tough and inedible, and the very soft red flesh is salty and sticky. The gold seeds are small and are scattered throughout the fruit.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
