Blue Zigzag Succulent

This small caudiciform grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The thick stem is gray-green, and is covered in dozens of rigid cream spines. The stocky, vivid green trunk can grow to as much as 9 feet (2.7 meters) in diameter. Its emerald branches are very long and thin.

The tattered-edged, wide leaves are either sky blue, or deep blue with white zig-zags. They are frail, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 16 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid pale purple petals and a bronze central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has a delicate scent that smells like damp.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the caramel flesh is sticky, and the olive sap is thin.
