Bluevine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 139 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has many knobbly, angular stems covered in smooth, gray bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches trail down across the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of giant, sickle shaped, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are beige and faded blue, durable and smooth.

In mid-spring it produces bunches of giant, violet flowers with oval-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like ashes.
