Burgundy Grass

Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, green puff.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
