Breadflower

This colossal flower grows up to 13.2 feet (4.0 meters) tall. Its lime green and hazel stems grow in bunches of 7 and are thick and straight, and the huge, emerald leaves are finger-like with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two large flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 59 cm (23.2 inches) wide, with petals that are cyan on the underside and bronze on the top. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 30 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a strong scent that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has copious amounts of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
