Cream Spikelet Grass

This short, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, cream spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
