Carmine Bine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 174 feet (53.0 meters) and growing as high as 81 feet (24.7 meters).

It takes 4 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The spear shaped, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2.5 feet (76 cm) in length. They are a shade of caramel and slate that gradient shifts to bright red at the top, and have serrated edges.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
