Greytuft

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This large, green grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, grey tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
It can survive a very long time without water.
