Crimson Nightflower

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow in bunches of 6 and are very thin with a curved tip, and the small, crimson leaves are very narrow and elongated with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two large flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with crimson petals that gradient shift to azure on the outer edge. The central disk is gentle yellow. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. They detach easily.

It has an intense scent that smells like fruity, and it has lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
