Copper Moss

This yellow or copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, In marshes, and On trees.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
