Burgundy Windgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, olive puff.
During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
