Coppervine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big flower grows up to 5.1 feet (1.5 meters) tall. Its brown stem is very thick and straight, and the large, copper leaves are circular with serrated edges. 2 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with alternating petals of orange and blood red, with an azure central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like sugar, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.

The entire flower is edible and very salty.
It is suitable for making paper
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
