Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly delicate; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It is very delicate and is easy to kill.
The sap is edible and overwhelmingly sweet.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
