Crimson Grass

This massive, pink-red grass grows up to 36 feet (11.0 meters) tall. The 7 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, gold tuft.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
