Amber Vine

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 133 feet (40.5 meters) and growing as high as 104 feet (31.7 meters).

It takes 5 years for the orange-yellow and lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The circular, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are bronze at the bottom and amber with faded purple zig-zags at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of average amber flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces a few tiny fruits.
