Bronzevine

This large flower grows up to 3.2 feet (97 cm) tall. Its slate or white stems grow in bunches of 3 and are thin with a curved tip, and the small, lime green leaves are very thin with wavy edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Each stem splits 3 to 5 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with solid dark brown petals decorated with black lines and a bronze central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has an intense scent that smells like warm cookies, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
