Bluevine

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 14 feet (4.3 meters) and growing as high as 145 feet (44.2 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 10 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The 3 pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are blue at the bottom and bronze with drab blue dots at the top, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of small lime flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small berries.
