Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In damp forests, In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
