Brown Spiral Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In bogs.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly resistant.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
