Ambervine

This large shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for around 98 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several narrow, curved stems covered in hard, ridged, light gray bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are very long and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, sickle shaped, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are solid amber with caramel splotches, delicate and soft.

It produces bunches of tiny, sky blue flowers with cylindrical shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like misty mornings. In early autumn it forms largeyellow aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
