Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores.
