Blue Spine Cactus

This huge cactus grows up to 122 feet (37.2 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 3 tapering stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in large amounts of flexible washed-out blue spines. The spherical body is yellow, and is covered in dozens of rigid red spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 35 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are vibrant orange on the underside and aquamarine on the top, grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 6 petals in raised layers. It has a strong scent that smells like new carpet.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the amber flesh is leathery, and the black sap is thin.
