Coppervine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters) and growing as high as 73 feet (22.3 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 4 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The sickle shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are blood red on the sides and amber at the center, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the vine produces many small copper flowers.
