Copperleaf
Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This enormous caudiciform grows up to 119 feet (36.3 meters) tall. The pleated stem is lime green, and is covered in many rigid white spines. It has a crooked, round, light brown trunk atop a thick, gnarled stilted platform of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are wide and gray-green and are short, rigid and upright.
The tattered-edged, long, narrow leaves are solid peach or copper, with olive splotches. They are delicate, but do not detach easily.
It is steady-growing, taking 22 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are light yellow on the underside and magenta on the top, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like rich perfume.
The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the green flesh is slimy, and the vivid blue sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
