Twining Sickleflower

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thick, and the tiny, gray leaves are sickle shaped with ripped edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 8 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are generally beige; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of handfuls of tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has very little pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
