Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees, On rotten logs, and In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores.
