Caramelactus

This small leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The very thin stem is emerald, and is covered in dozens of flexible lime spines. The rounded-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are caramel with dull yellow tips. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are sturdy, but take little effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 32 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with green petals and a copper central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 45 tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a faint scent that smells like alcohol.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the red flesh is sticky, and the light grey sap is thin.
