Caramel Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in small clumps that are light and frail and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, caramel spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
