Copperleaf

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters) and growing as high as 124 feet (37.8 meters).

It takes 5 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The sickle shaped, waxy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are a shade of copper that gradient shifts to brilliant blue at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of large cyan flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of small berries.
