Copperleaf Succulent

This small leaf succulent grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thick stem is copper, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid light brown spines. The rounded-edged, long, tapering leaves are a shade of hazel that gradient shifts to aquamarine at the top. Very large amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are durable, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 34 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with hazel petals that gradient shift to blue on the outer edge. The central disk is white grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is largely flat with 48 raised narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like sugar.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the caramel flesh is soft, and the amber sap is thin.
