Copperbell

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 44 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many wide, crooked stems covered in silky, mahogany-coloured bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with small bunches of small, fan-like, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either copper or orange, with aquamarine dots, robust and waxy.

It produces several medium-sized, sky blue flowers with asymmetrical petals. They are sturdy and have a faint scent that smells like new books. In late summer it forms giantbright red seed pods.
