Crimson Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This big, red grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, pink puff.
During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
