Burgundy Grass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, white tuft.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
