Crimson Succulent

This large caudiciform grows up to 96 feet (29.3 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is crimson, and is covered in sharp spines. It has a straight, very thick, bronze trunk atop a slender stilted platform of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are very thick and dark brown and yellow-green and are short and thin.

The ripped-edged, slender, pointed leaves are azure at the bottom and grey with bronze dots at the top. They are resilient, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with cream petals and a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like candle wax.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the brown flesh is rough, and the pastel red sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
