Crimson Grass

This short, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, grey puff.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
